What We Wore On A Weekend

Hello everyone,
We haven't been blogging for aeons and we apologise for the long bout of silence on this page!
No prizes for guessing the reasons why but the two of us have been pretty busy over the last few weeks with our individual commitments, and for those of you that know, Brendy's flying off in a few hours from now for a trip with Samba Masala, the Brazilian percussion club that she is part of.
So today,I'll be writing this post about our personal style featuring the stuff we wore sometime back.

I think one thing that makes the both of us very different from each other is the way we dress. Granted we like quite a lot of the same stuff- well-cut basics, solid colors and good add ons to an outfit(mainly shoes that match with everything, big bags, and the occasional arm candy and bracelet), we somehow interpret that differently and that's pretty cool.

I'm almost always in something black and I cannot do without a good black tank or camisole.
I've got so many in my wardrobe yet I still find it hard to resist getting more.(I know, even my Mum nags me about this too) I too like sporting the occasional printed something(like the skorts I wore out that day) while keeping the rest of my outfit simple and basic for the most part.

If I were to describe Brend's style, I'd say minimalist, delicate and put together.
I've known her for a long time and functionality is a word that comes to mind every time I go clothes shopping with Brend. She always picks pieces suited for the occasion or the weather and I like how she stays true to the belief in dressing comfortably while looking pretty effortless. She's often in white, cream and a darker shade of denim(even in the photos for this post) and she's always in shorts that elongates her petite frame. If she's taught me anything about picking out clothing, it is finding colours and cuts that suit you and sticking to them. Remember that the next time you shop(or in other words, Do a Brendy) It'll come in handy, trust me.

That's all from me today, and I hope you have the greatest week.

Love,
Mandy
